About the role

As an Emerging Talent Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the firm’s Emerging Talent (ET) programmes, from attraction and recruitment through to hire, onboarding and the full employee lifecycle processes for the firm’s Emerging Talent population.

Working closely with the Emerging Talent, HR Operations teams and internal and external stakeholders, you’ll ensure that our future Trainees, Solicitor Apprentices, and Secondees receive a professional and seamless experience. This role offers a broad mix of admin tasks within a small team.


Key Responsibilities

Emerging Talent Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Respond to candidate and stakeholder queries via the shared ET inbox in a timely, helpful manner, demonstrating initiative and taking ownership of requests
  • Support the organisation and facilitation of candidate assessment days (including logistics, materials, and coordination before during and after the event)
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate candidate records in our recruitment platforms (Apply4Law, Workday) and team trackers, including our future Trainees, Apprentices
  • Send key communications such as interview invites, rejection emails, offer letters, and reference requests and oversee candidate requests and queries
  • Manage candidate travel expense claims
  • Support the firm’s Law Scholarship schemes
  • Perform electronic filing of candidate and employee documentation
  • Onboarding of all Emerging Talent Programme participants, including pre-employment screening, Occupational Health screening, right to work checks and IT kit arrangements.

Workday & HR Operations Support:

  • Collaborate with the HR Operations team to deliver end-to-end employee lifecycle administration for the firm’s Emerging Talent population, including:
  • Supporting the firm’s Trainee and Apprentice qualification process including issuing contracts, and leaver process
  • Managing Workday data updates relating to the firm’s Emerging Talent population including supporting the bi-annual seat rotation process, salary changes and performance reviewers.
  • Supporting external and internal Emerging Talent secondments including the processing of international allowances and visa requirements
  • Providing references and processing employment verification requests
  • Scheduling Trainee and Apprentice meetings for the ET Advisors and Managers as required.

  • A team player with a professional and approachable manner
  • Experience with HR systems, especially Workday, is highly desirable
  • Good Excel skills are an advantage
