Regional Financial Controller (GCC Region) - Riyadh
We are seeking an experienced Accountant for our Riyadh office, to lead our finance function across the GCC region.

About the role
Leading the finance functions in the CMS CMNO GCC offices in their day to operations both locally and as part of the CMS CMNO group.
Key responsibilities of the function/role include:
Ensuring that the local accounts comply with local requirements and that audits and other regulatory filings (CT, VAT and WHT returns) are made on a timely basis.
Ensure that the entries made to the global accounting system at partnership/budget level are completed correctly and are consistent with the group’s accounting policies and reconcile to local accounts (month end balance sheet and P&L reviews).
Assisting with the firm’s annual budgeting process.
Reviewing and liaising with office managers and external providers in relation to payroll, end of service and social insurance for all regional offices including DEWS.
Ensure partner distribution payments are accurate and made on a timely basis.
Preparing and monitoring cash forecasting and requirements.
Preparing management accounts.
Reviewing and authorising all external payments.
Liaising with Banks in relation to bank guarantees.
Updating and maintaining office operational and accounting manuals.
Liaise as necessary with the UK teams re training, staff hiring and development and keeping up to date re developments.
Coaching and mentoring the accounting team.
Project based work as necessary.

Exposure to and interest in non UK accounting teams and issues
Professional/Educational Qualification
Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA etc)
