Are you looking for a new and interesting opportunity to develop your skills and build professional experience? We have a varied and challenging role for a confident individual to assist our Trade Mark team.

About the role

Located in our London office, this junior level role will provide first class support to the Trade Mark team.  Our IP group is one of the largest teams in Europe for patent and trade mark work. We have qualified patent and trade mark attorneys working alongside IP, litigation, corporate and commercial lawyers.  The role is varied and the work is valued.  Key responsibilities and duties will include:
- opening and processing post
- preparing daily and weekly deadline lists
- checking and forwarding electronic communications
- checking, processing and sending Registration certificates, renewal certificates etc
- preparation of standard letters
- preparing reports in Excel from the Trade Mark Database
- scanning
- sending couriers
- updating the database to organise trade mark records
- other ad-hoc duties


About you

We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive individual who is keen to learn new skills and work in a team.  The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to effectively manage a number of priorities at any one time.  No previous experience is necessary, but the right candidate will have:
- strong communication skills, both oral and written
- good organisation and administration skills
- excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- good Microsoft Office skills

Previous experience of a document management system would be beneficial but is not essential, as training will be provided.
