Internal Communications Executive

About the role
Working closely with the Communications Manager, you will be responsible for drafting and editing content for our regular internal communication channels helping to manage and develop these in accordance with strategic priorities. As a strong writer, you will be able to manage multiple projects, ensuring activities are consistent with our overall communications activities both internal and external, ensuring they align with the strategic and business priorities of the firm.
Primarily focused on day-to-day internal communications, the role will have flexibility to support the areas of PR and social media during busy times. You can expect to get involved in a variety of work including:

To source, write and edit clear and engaging content for our key internal communications channels, including emails, posters, firmwide newsletters and intranet homepage articles

To monitor the communications inbox daily

To be able to write in accordance with our brand guidelines and tone of voice

To support the delivery of internal meetings and events where required

To support on drafting internal briefing documents, Q&A documents, articles, reports and proposals as required

To collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and effective digital assets, such as posters, reports, infographics, presentations, and other visual aids, to communicate key messages and information to employees

To support on the implementation of communications plans in response to briefings from partners, management or other support services functions

To provide support in framing key internal messages and visualising these in internal and external-facing branded materials

To measure the effectiveness of internal communications efforts, adjusting as necessary

To support the delivery of communications for key firmwide, strategic or operational initiatives as required

To build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders including business development, HR, Responsible Business (ESG), DEIB, Legal Operations, IT and design teams
-
To be an active member of the communications team, prepared to support other communications projects as required

To stay up to date on internal communications best practices and trends, and make recommendations for improvements
About you

Degree educated, ideally in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, English, Law, or a related field

1-2 years of internal communications experience, ideally within a large organisation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent spelling and grammar, with a strong attention to detail
-
Able to turn complex information into concise, engaging content
-
IT-literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ideally AI tools
-
A working knowledge of SharePoint and Poppulo would be advantageous but not essential (training will be provided)

Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
-
Flexible, adaptable, and able to adjust to changing priorities, team needs, and business demands with ease

Strong organisational and time management skills
-
Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving
-
Good relationship-building skills
-
A creative mindset with a willingness to contribute new ideas for improving internal communications
